Silk Route  - we have devloped our event into an ARABIAN CABARET and have now taken our show to the well known and loved, Bedford in Balham, with more space, fantastic lighting and sound - all for our wonderful dancers and very appreciative audience!

Another exciting change includes a spot for various dance schools.  Teachers bring their students to perform in their own slot - a show within a show!  This will be followed by the professional cabaret - and after, a chance for the audience to dance with our Club Arabia DJ until 10.30 pm.   Our new format has proved to be popular already and allows a super platform for both students and profesionals to shine!  We're also continuing with our popular themes each month - which allows us to showcase different styles of dance and for the performers to push their creativity within this art form.

We are delighted to announce that in order to bring you an even bigger and more eventful show, we  showcase on alternate months

For our next showcase    We are very excited to welcome the return of OZGEN as our headline act for our TURKISH DELIGHT themed showcase! Ozgen is one of only a few male belly dancers in London and the UK.  This will be the last chance to see him dance for a while as he is off to sunny climes - Spain!  Ozgen will also offer a couple of workshops prior to the showcase in March and as always, proves to be a very popular dancer.  Welcome back to Silk Route Ozgen!  Also showcasing :  Dawn Harvey, Melissa Abraham and their schools - plus many more !!  Another packed show - please see Silk Route's website for full details
