An ancient dance form for the modern woman
 
Tone-up - Have Fun - Learn a New Skill
 
All class sessions incorporate a warm-up, stretch, drills/technique, choreography and cool down.
 
Please ensure you bring plenty of drinking water and wear comfortable loose(ish) trousers eg yoga  pants and a slightly fitted top - which will  enable you to clearly see your upper body movements when dancing. You may wish to dance either bare-foot or bring along some ballet slippers/pumps.  Various hip belts and dance pumps can be purchased directly from Michelle.
 
An enthusiastic teacher of bellydance, Michelle also qualified with the YMCA as a Fitness Instructor and Core Stability Instructor, which assists in her teaching a safe and effective class.  
 
Michelle can tailor private belly dance lessons.  Private classes or closed courses are not listed, therefore if you would like to enquire about hosting a course/worshop/class, please contact me for availability and full details. 
 
Most Classes recommence the 2nd week of January 2012 and will continue through to the Easter break.  For classes at the Malden Centre, please click through for information and see below for individual start dates.  There is a Paypal for advanced payment located at the bottom of the page, please use the drop-down menu for the correct class and fee.
 
The class schedule is subject to change and updates, new courses are also added to the timetable - please keep on checking for new classes and amendments!

Class and course fees run in week sequence and are non-refundable  - advertised class dates, times and instructor may be subject to change
 
Please wear comfortable pants/loose gypsy skirt, fitted top (you don't have to expose your tummy!) and either bare foot or ballet style pumps.  A scarf or belt for your hips (available to purchase from me if you prefer) and do please bring water.
 
It is always advisable to check with your GP if you have any health concerns, are pregnant or embarking on a new excercise prgramme
